Student Navigator
The School of Nursing is pleased to announce the development of a new resource for pre-nursing majors and currently enrolled basic licensure track nursing students. The role of Student Navigator is to develop one-on-one relationships with at-risk students and help them gain access to university and community support systems, financial aid, academic support, mental and physical resources to support well-being and success.
Pre-nursing majors may be referred to the Student Navigator when:

not quite academically prepared to enter the nursing program
-
experiencing personal issues that affect academic status
Basic licensure nursing students may be referred for assistance when:

performance is poor on portions of ERI or overall score is below the national average
-
failing course at mid-term
-
having difficulty taking unit exams
-
experiencing personal issues that affect academic status
