Eligibility Criteria
The goal of the Nurture for Success Student Nurse Scholarship is to increase the nursing workforce diversity by providing scholarship support that will promote an increase in the number of minority and disadvantaged graduates from the Clayton State University School of Nursing.
Through federal funding received from the Division of Nursing, Bureau of Health Professions, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Department of Health and Human Services, the CSU SON will award 10 scholarships annually over the next three years in the amount of $3000.00 to nursing students demonstrating academic excellence and a financial need. The amount of award is based on full-time enrollment.
CSU nursing students who meet the following eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply:
- Currently enrolled in the CSU nursing program.
- An overall gpa of 2.75.
- A demonstrated financial need indicated by applicant’s completed FAFSA form and applicant’s personal statement of need.
